Two decades have passed since the last major radio event in Athens, when the NAB Conference captured the attention of the domestic and international radio community. This significant event bridges the twenty-year gap since the capital hosted a similarly important gathering.
The 2005 conference holds a special place in my memory, symbolizing a pivotal moment for the Greek radio community. Serving as a representative of Premiere Networks, my company, alongside Tanya Douglas-Juhasz, VP of International Development, played a crucial role. With the generous sponsorship of Rick Dees, we contributed significantly to crafting an unforgettable event.

Radiodays Europe 2025 offers a new opportunity for the Greek radio scene to shine and continue innovating. The honorable announcement was made by Kostas Fotopoulos, President of EIIRA, from Munich, emphasizing the special significance of choosing Athens to host the conference from March 9th to 11th, 2025.
The participation of approximately 1,800 individuals from various countries in Munich this year, with a strong Greek presence such as Alexandra Daskalopoulos from Frontstage Entertainment, demonstrates the dynamism of radio and modern forms of audio content.
The choice of the Megaron Concert Hall as the venue further underscores the quality and value that the organization attributes to the participants’ experience.
