This accolade comes as a recognition of Warner Bros.’ centennial legacy, marking 100 years since its inception by the iconic quartet of Warner brothers – Harry, Albert, Sam, and Jack L. Warner.

DVB-I Pilot: Taking the Lead in Innovation
IBC Innovation Awards will see the 2023 Special Award for Innovation presented to the German DVB-I Pilot. This ambitious initiative, uniting critical stakeholders in the German media landscape, endeavors to revitalize linear TV programming.
Technical Mastery on Display
Further celebrations will include the Best Technical Paper Award. Recognized for their groundbreaking work on a 5G standalone non-public network during the coronation of King Charles III, a team from the BBC, University of Strathclyde, and Neutral Wireless will be conferred with this honor.
IBC’s Changemaker Award: Celebrating Cultural Icons
Eurovision Song Contest, a significant cultural spectacle, will be the inaugural recipient of IBC’s 2023 Changemaker Award. Martin Österdahl, from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), will represent Eurovision at the Changemakers program, reflecting on the event’s massive global reach.
Furthermore, the 2023 Special Award for Social Impact will be presented to the Women in Streaming Media Mentorship Programme, which has championed the cause of gender parity in the media industry.
